WarnerBrosHost: Welcome chatters! Today we are chatting with Carrie-Anne Moss, red-hot off the set of "Red Planet" costarring Val Kilmer. She will be chatting about that just-released sci-fi fantasy along with last year's super-charged award-winner, "The Matrix." We'd like to welcome Carrie-Anne Moss! Thank you for being here and chatting with us today.

Carrie-Anne Moss: Thank you.

Devil Dawg: When you started your career, did you ever imagine that you would become a sci-fi action-adventure heroine?

Carrie-Anne Moss: No, it never crossed my mind. (laughing) I thought I would be acting and I'd hoped I would be acting, but I didn't imagine science fiction action films.

Big Old Freak: What was it like to film all those special effects scenes?

Carrie-Anne Moss: Difficult. I find it incredibly challenging to work in scenes where I have to imagine that things are there.

WarnerBrosHost: I noticed you were alone most of the movie. What is that like?

Carrie-Anne Moss: I was with the crew. Challenging. I had to keep myself interested in the scenes. I didn't have another actor to work off of. But ultimately, the crew became the biggest part of making the movie for me.

Pollyanna: What is your favorite part of the movie-making process?

Carrie-Anne Moss: My favorite part is getting to know the people that I work with, the actors, the directors, and the crew. For me, it's about relationships, the people I talk to and the people that talk to me.

Pit Monger: I was wondering if the whole show-biz lifestyle has affected your Canadian roots in any way. Also do you plan on coming to Montreal anytime soon?

Carrie-Anne Moss: I will always be a Canadian at heart. I love Canada. I love Canadians. I feel really lucky to have grown up the way I grew up. And my lifestyle is pretty non-Hollywood. And Montreal.no, probably not for a while, but I sure love it there.

God Only Knows: Hi! I'd like to know how they achieved that no-gravity effect in “Red Planet” - did they take you up in a plane and drop you like they did for Apollo13, or was it some kind of computer-generated thing? What was it like filming that?

Carrie-Anne Moss: I wish they took me up in a plane, but they didn't. That effect was created by wires. I was trained on wires to simulate “zero gravity.” I learned a lot about being on the wires when I shot “The Matrix.” So, I'm kind of good on it. That was easy.

Josh Andrew: What was your favorite part of doing “Red Planet?” The cool action sequences, like getting shot into space in that chair, or the scenes with the guys - I loved the way you just stared down Tom Sizemore when he told you you'd be his queen!

Carrie-Anne Moss: I think that was my favorite part of making the movie right there. That was my favorite moment.

Perrys Mom: Who was your favorite guy in Red Planet, and why? They're all pretty cute, but I just LOVE Val Kilmer.although Benjamin Bratt's no slouch!

Carrie-Anne Moss: I would never pick favorites.

Gondolier: Were the action scenes cool to shoot, or did the make you queasy, or what? You looked great, p.s., but you probably already know that!

Carrie-Anne Moss: (laughing) The action sequences were hard for me because I have claustrophobia and wearing that helmet was tough for me. And thank you for saying I looked good. And I hope that you tell somebody that you know personally that they looked great today.

Crash Test Dummy: CARRIE-ANNE, you totally ROCK! Is action-adventure your preferred type of movie, or do you also want to do comedy, drama, maybe horror?

Carrie-Anne Moss: Thank you, first of all, and my favorite kind of movie to go watch, would have to be romantic love stories. Girl meets boy . girl and boy fall in love, that kind of thing. As an actress, I'm pretty open to whatever, to be honest.

Holamehoney: You've done SO much - television, movies, modeling.what's next? Do you have any desire to write, or to direct? If so, what types of projects would you like to do?

Carrie-Anne Moss: I wish I was more, uh, what's the word, ambitious. But for me, having the career I have now is so much but I don't have that much ambition right now. I love acting and I want to have kids and you know, I don't know what else.
