YTV: YTV and Talk City are delighted to present this opportunity to chat LIVE with the talented and lovely Geri Halliwell . . . Let the chatting begin!

I Love Geri: Geri, what inspired you to start singing?

Geri Halliwell: I think it was a form of expression. I've always been very creative in writing songs as a little girl. I"ve always done it as a rather instinctive thing.

Cherry895: How old were you when you decided that you wanted to be an entertainer?

Geri Halliwell: When I came out of my mother's womb, screaming "Look at me!" And then laughed.

Songbryd: Who would you like to sing with someday?

Geri Halliwell: I don't know yet. I think collaborations are like relationships -- you should do it with someone you really, really want to do it with, not just for the sake of it. I want to establish myself as a solo artist first. I've been collaborating for four years.

GC: Would you like to become a movie star instead of a singer?

Geri Halliwell: At the moment I create little mini-movies with my videos. If a great script came along then I'd love to do a movie.

Sammyman: What song did you have the most fun recording on your new CD?

Geri Halliwell: Probably "Let Me Love You" because it's very raw, and fun, and unpolished -- and my dog Harry was always with me when I was recording.

Shygrrrlee: Have you ever had stage fright?

Geri Halliwell: Yeah! I sung the wrong words on "David Letterman"! I sang "Light fitting" instead of "Loose fitting"!

Rosierose: When you were in school, what one subject did you hate the most?

Geri Halliwell: I think it depends on the teacher rather than the subject. If you have a good, friendly teacher then it doesn't matter what the subject is, although chemistry can get a bit heavy.

Greengenes: What is the most stressful part about traveling around so much?

Geri Halliwell: I think it's when you're tired that makes your tolerance and patience factor rather low. I've become like a child, so little things can get blown out of proportion, and there are so many things that can possibly go wrong. You know, stress comes along with the job now, so I do a bit of yoga to try and relax.

Knightinwhtsatin: Do you ever wish you could go back to when you weren't recognized?

Geri Halliwell: Only when I'm feeling ugly and down, but that's like most people when they're feeling low, and under the weather. Whether you're famous or not.
