Scarlett: Hi everyone. Thanks for coming out and chatting with me. Give the dirt! What are our beauty dilemmas of the evening?

CAN I B URS: What is the best cleanser to use on my face?

Scarlett: Currently I am very into any product with Tea Tree Oil. It's fabulous for acne prone or combination skin.

BabyBlondy77: Wow can you make your eyes look deeper with eye shadow?

Scarlett: To make your eyes look deeper use darker shadow in the crease between the brow bone and the eyelid. This will make you eyes look set back. The singer Christina Aguilera, who's on the front cover of CosmoGIRL!, sports this look, and it's very hot.

Sarah-kartman: How do I define my eyebrows without making me look like a tramp?

Scarlett: This is tricky territory, but using a light brown or blond brow powder not too thick, but not too thin is the way to go. The last few seasons we've been seeing the stenciled Pam Anderson brow. I love her, but brows are getting thicker.

Makeupgrrl13: What is the right way to apply eyeliner?

Scarlett: Hey Makeupgrrl13, Hi! Right now I'm liking eyeliner on the top lid and not too dark on the bottom lid. Eyeliner is a great way to experiment with makeup. I go in for more of an Audrey Hepburn look with liquid liner; again, not too thick. But definitely tip it up at the end a little. And maybe very lightly pencil underneath the bottom lashes. And always, lots of mascara to blend it all together.

AmyandNat: How can you get rid of under eye circles and puffiness?

Scarlett: This is what I fight with every day--another tricky area. For puffiness, a great thing to use is cold cucumber slices, or Ponds Cucumber Pads. As for dark circles, you know, being a makeup artist for so many years, this is one of the most popular questions asked, and where a lot of people go wrong. Because they make dark circles too white and they end up looking like they have raccoon eyes. To make dark circles look less dark, (a) get some sleep and get a concealer close to your own skin tone and blend it into your foundation. Also, make sure you use a nice light moisturizer first.

Smiley Gurl2000: How do you know what colors are right for your skin tone?

Scarlett: This is where you should go and experiment at cosmetic counters. The makeup artists behind the counters are more than willing to help you. If they get snotty and don't want to help you, just go to another one.

Em Rules: What eye shadow looks good on a dark brunette?

Scarlett: Lucky you, dark brown hair! A lot is going to look good on you. For spring experiment with lilacs.

BABYDOLL: I get up really early to go to school how can I look glamorous without wasting an hour doing my makeup?

Scarlett: Waste an hour? Doing makeup is not a waste. But I know that sleep is very important. Use concealer to conceal dark circles, blemishes, and spots. Then do a light liner look, an all-over blush or facial bronzer, and lipstick with maybe some sparkly gloss. Then spend the rest of the day applying makeup in the back of class. And you, too, can own a cosmetic company in 20 years.
