COSMOGirl: Welcome to our chat with our own His Diary Guy, Mark. This chat is sponsored by CosmoGIRL! -- a magazine for REAL girls with REAL issues. Log on at www.cosmogirl.com Welcome, Mark! What¹s up?

Mark: How are ya? Nothing much. I just go to school now every day and do everything else. I'm from Toms River, New Jersey.

Max: Mark, What is the most exciting thing you have ever done at CosmoGirl?

Mark: The most exciting thing I've ever done would have to be doing all the photography when they follow me around and take pictures of everything I do.

Sigma Girl: How did you get into CosmoGIRL!?

Mark: Actually, they kinda found me and I had to send them a resume and then they called me back to do the story. Mostly just talking about what I do and them wanting to see if my life was interesting enough to write about. I think one of the most embarrassing situations I have ever been in was when I was doing lunch one day and had some friends in the car and got in an accident. My car got crashed a little. I was embarrassed because I had friends in the car and we were all hungry and ready to eat and we couldn't get any food because we had to wait for the police to get there. I haven't kept a diary too long. I started this summer when I got this job.

Virtual Mirage: What¹s the most secret thing you shouldn¹t put in your diary in case someone does read it?

Mark: I think I found out I shouldn't put in there some of the feelings of the girls I talk about. It gets me into trouble a little bit

Kokomo: What made you start writing a diary for COSMOGirl, Mark?

Mark: I started writing it when they asked me to -- because they wanted me to do it for them.

Millie Beans: How many guys or girls do you think read your diary?

Mark: I actually would not know. However many people subscribe to the magazine, and other people who have bought it.

Kobe Bear: How would you describe a perfect day for you?

Mark: An average day in my life would be I wake up around 6AM and get ready for school. School starts around 7AM. Then I go to school all day. After school I go to the gym and work out for a couple of hours. I can bench press 180. When I get home I eat dinner, take a shower, do homework and hang out with some friends, usually. It ends sometime at night. If there are good waves after school, I will go surfing.

CWW: Girls mature faster than guys so how should a guy act on a date so the girls like him and want other dates with him?

Mark: I think a guy on a date should act as nice as possible to a girl and do everything he can for her. Get her flowers, open doors for her, buy her things. I try to do those things. Especially for my girlfriends. Right now, I don't have any steady girlfriends but there are a few girls I am talking to.

Mickey Mouse: Do you really think that men and women do have a totally different perspective on how relationships should be? Such as the infamous "next level" view?

Mark: Yeah. I think guys think differently than guys and girls think differently than guys. Some girls want to jump right into a relationship -- the next level -- and guys might want to back off a little. It can work the other way around. I think you need to be patient. I learned through a few relationships that patience is the best thing. If you jump in too early, you may jeopardize the whole thing.
